Hi, I've just started teacher training and I really enjoy it so far (Just observing for now) also also find the college days interesting. I feel like my brain has been properly switched on which is great. But I'm finding when I have a day off I feel quite wired and restless. Is this normal? It's like my body has forgotten to switch off!

This happened with me, so yeah I think it is normal. Teaching and studying is really busy, lots of social, mental and physical stimulation. So on days off it can be challenging to relax.

Yep. When you're a teacher and you finally get to the holidays it can take a few days to unwind and actually relax. Term time there's always a 'to-do' list running around in your head nagging at you.

100%
I find the 6 weeks holiday almost unbearable. I honestly thrive on the routine and pressure 🙈
