Pay rise for private school staff?

So I see the government are adding 4% to state teachers’ salaries. Have any private school teachers heard what (if any!) rise you’ll get? I hope we’re at least comparable to state.

2%.

We have been told we are separate industries and to not compare!

Last two years of pay awards doesn't equate to even half of state sector- less than 5% with 2.5% next academic year. Contact time been increased without proper consultation. We have been told we should be thankful there have been no redundancies. Pleading poverty since VAT increase. Morale not great.

We are massively behind state salaries, and indies nearby are dropping like flies. I'd not be at all surprised if governors try to renege on agreed deals TBH.

When times are tough in the economy state schools salaries out-pace the private. It has always been as such.

It tells you the economy is tanking.

Previous years have been less than state school rises. We are still ahead on n terms of pay….but not by much.
