Hi there,
We are looking for a twin class/ school to partner up in penpal exchange
with our language school in Warsaw. We are thinking of 11-13 year old kids.
Benefits:
- building cultural sensitivity
- 10 day summer live -in with hosting family in Warsaw for student and parent at hosting family home in Warsaw - with the hosting families being well to do families investing in their kids education

What is involved:
- one message a month, probably recording, with support from local teacher/ coordinator ( topics suggested by our side, to be agreed)
- if kids feel like they want more , that's Okey:) ( though the initial concept is to be on the light side with structured support from an Educator)
Benefits for the teacher/ coordinator on the UK side:
- we would love to host you at our apartment in Warsaw for 10 days next summer, we are a couple of English ESOL teachers with one kid

We are interested in partnering with one school, with one coordinator, to mirror a France-Poland penpal programme I took part in when I was a teen. But we are open to ideas.

Background:
(1) We are setting up a language school in Warsaw, having lived in UK for over 7 years.
(2) We want a clear set of USPs to attract well to do families. Penpal programme with hosting UK nationals would be one such benefit.
Details:
(3) We expect around 12 hosting families in year one
(4) The visit of course is optional and is meant as a benefit for UK based teens
(5) While visit from UK guest would be of great value to our families, the core value is the fact of having a penpal
(6) Each family will provide a separate room for the guests
(7) We expect a visit lasting 3-12 days will suit the families on our side, depending on UK side families preferences
(8),we will encourage families to visit between 1 to 2 cities in poland in addition to Warsaw, including mountains in the south or seaside with sandy beaches. But the detailed programme of visit will depend on the hosting family budget and preferences of the guests.
(9) The draft topics of the first videos/ mails/ chats:

B. About me house and my family.
C. About my school, and topics I love and hate.
D. About my hobbies and free time
(10 topics planned in 2025/2026, probably a short vlog like form of 90 seconds up to three minutes will do. But email or chat is fine too)
