Girls On Board

Has anyone implemented 'Girls on Board' in their school? It's a program to help girls (and teachers of girls!) navigate emotions and friendships. We had the training for it today and I would be really interested to hear from anyone whose school has implemented it and what the outcome was. Thank you!

Our school did this. Honestly I can't say I've seen much difference and the kids didn't seem to be able to articulate what the sessions were about other than "to help me with friendships". I found there wasn't a lot of buy in for the kids.

I think the intentions of the programme is great but I just think for us at least there are too many external influences not within our control on these girls for it to have much of an impact.

That's not to say it can't be effective elsewhere though!
