How are we feeling about tomorrow?

I’m excited to see Yr11 but new management means a lot of rewriting of lessons which I feel a bit overwhelmed by! Been a lovely long time off though!
how is everyone feeling about returning to the trenches tomorrow?

Urgh ycuk and no thank you ( but i will be there bright and early and cheery).

Feel absolutely sick tbh. I'm sure by 12 I will be fine but going in to a difficult meeting first thing so will go for a walk at lunch as a treat if I am able to.

Lovely short 9.5 week term!

The Sundays Blues have kicked in now!

I was quite apprehensive about going back. HoD, lots to do, Ofsted looming etc.

However, I have actually had a nice day- had a full day but enjoyed my lessons.

To do list is so long though 😩

We’ve got another week and not back till next Monday as we broke up late. Only a 4 week half term this one coming!

It’s not made a difference for me as I’ve been working most days and this week I’m doing interviews to fill vacancies.

Looking forward to the 6 week summer break, I’m going abroad for 3 weeks to Cyprus the same day that term finishes and back in the UK ready for A-Levels results day. Not really had a break this year as it’s my first year in the school so been focussed on this!

Sounds fab! And actually so close! We are off for Cyprus as well but only for the week!

Going back tomorrow. Just checked my emails and have found out there are 4 new starters across my KS3 groups - just when I thought I’d prepped really well too. Back to Megaseating plan for me!

We ended up with Ofsted last week so that was a fun way to start the term! We’ve been waiting for ages though so at least it’s out the way now – such a relief.

Back in today.

@BG2015 good luck! You will feel so relieved when it’s over, and at least everyone is fresh from being off. Ours was last week and it really was better than previous ofsted experiences, in terms of feeling much more like a professional conversation in which we were the experts on our school and our children. Really hope yours goes well.
