If the Headteacher is the sole proprietor and the school doesn’t have an advisory board, how is the Headteacher’s/Proprietor’s pay determined? Do they just get to decide their own pay, and do they get paid more for being the sole proprietor?

They are the owner so I would imagine the profit is theirs to take how they wish. Invest in the school, take in the form of dividends or whatever they wish?
