I am currently luxuriating with a cuppa and mumsnet and still in my PJs at 8.30 on a Saturday and it is wonderful! I love an exeat weekend, it just feels so special.

Anyone else enjoying a whole 2 days away from school?

It is nearly half ten and I still haven’t got dressed - bliss.

My kids are grown and flown so weekends are very different, but just sitting, playing on the iPad, drinking tea and watching the birds still feels a luxury.

Do you ever peruse the companies house accounts to check your school is in a good position financially?
I used to love doing that when I worked in a bs.

Yes and the ‘competition’. School I am currently at is financially healthy.

Not an exeat this weekend so getting ready to head in. But I do have a wonderful Saturday planned and in many ways it is my favourite day of the week,

I live for exeats. Umpiring C team netball is not my idea of an exciting Saturday afternoon, and it’s all the extra curricular shenanigans that tire me out, not the Saturday morning lessons, although they are not ideal either.

I feel you pain with netball. I have a co-curricular I love with students who want to be there, which makes a massive difference.
