Just for fun/being nosy 😂

We finished school today and I am really looking forward to some quality family time!

Tomorrow is going to be finishing the food shop/some cleaning + tidying.

Sun - not sure yet, probably some wrapping and final prep. DH is working Sun eve so me and ds (11) will probably watch home alone.

Then we have the all creatures great and small special on the 23rd to look forward to.

Christmas eve will be games, Christmas film and party tea, just the three of us. Might go for a walk during the day if it's fine.

Christmas morning at home and then to SiLs for Christmas Dinner. There is a new Wallace and Gromit on so want to watch that.

Boxing day, my parents are coming and staying over, so that will be lovely.

28th, very close family friends are coming up from London so all gathering at SiLs.

29th we are going on a steam train and having lunch out.

Then not much planned for a few days buy the 2nd is my dad's birthday, with his party on the 4th as he is 70 this year.

So lots to look forward to but also lots of time to relax/watch Christmas films/eat cheese etc. 😁

End of term yesterday - was in school today and will be in for a couple of hours on Monday morning but I shall not be going back on site until around the 2nd Jan.

This weekend I plan to do my final bits of Xmas shopping and wrap gifts…
Do some cleaning etc.
Food shopping on Sunday/Monday

This year we are hosting Christmas for the family of 9 - it will be our last Christmas in this house - we have lived here since 1991 (so we thought we’d have one last bash!) before moving in January.

Between Xmas and New Year - we have pledged to start fully packing ready for moving - the garage and loft are all packed as well other bits we won’t need before moving but we need to really get a move on with the rest of the house… do tip runs… be easier to do all this before going back to work instead of staying up past midnight frantically packing days before the move!

We will also be going to visit our new house / bungalow at some point with our builder who is going to start work on gutting the place pretty much as soon as we get the keys!!

Next year will be more peaceful..

I finished on Thursday as I don't work Fridays.

This weekend we're off to Newcastle-upon -Tyne to see a band we follow, it's a 4 hour train journey so we're looking forward to eating snacks and reading.

I'm hosting on Christmas Day for 12 of us but we're having a Christmas buffet as we can't fit everyone in since we downsized in August.

Then on Boxing Day we're going to Morocco for 10 nights. Can't wait!
