Originally I read somewhere the back pay from Sept will be received in Nov, but the NEU have since emailed to say they expect it might be received in the December pay packet.

We’ve known for a while we get ours in our December pay 💰

RainbowColouredRainbows · 19/11/2024 16:39

We have received an email from the academy chain ceo saying they will pay it in November

TheJuggleIsReal · 19/11/2024 18:28

We had en email to say ours will be in January because of pay cut offs but schools in the same LEA with the same pay company are getting it before. 😟

BG2015 · 19/11/2024 19:17

We're getting it in December pay

grumpypug · 19/11/2024 19:42

Had an email to say it will
Come in January's pay.

Hateam · 20/11/2024 13:29

November's pay.

Iamnotthe1 · 20/11/2024 17:32

December with any allowances (TLR/SENDCo) coming in January.

I understand that there are a number of steps involved but for it to take 5 months between the announcement and it actually being felt in your pocket is ridiculous and should be sorted.

We are getting it in November (medium sized academy trust).

TheJuggleIsReal · 20/11/2024 18:37

@grumpypug I wonder if we are with the same pay company!? Mine is done via EPM

mrsnjw · 21/11/2024 09:41

November county controlled school

PensionPuzzle · 24/11/2024 07:04

We got the uplift % this month but the backdated bit will (may?) be December. They haven't paid anyone's scale point increases either. My payslip also says the previous salary in the info section despite in the numbers bit it being correct to the 2024-25 value.

I suspect our payroll company isn't particularly good...

I think it's complicateda where I am because although England declared it before the start of term, Wales sat on making any decision until Sept had started so everything is later than it would normally have been.

Happily, although the suggested uplift for Wales was 4%ish (as we have had one year not long ago when England had a pay freeze but we had a smallish uplift and it would have brought us in line with the pay points on England) they decided that their promise for not making any decisions that would leave Wales teachers at a disadvantage meant they needed to offer the same 5.5%.

I was expecting to get increase in today’s pay, but haven’t got it. Not sure why, I don’t think I’ve had any information on when, I’m in a lea school in England.
