I am a pastoral assistant in a catholic school and want to apply to for a HOY job in the same school. i just need some help with what I can write and any support will be helpful

You would want to be emphasising your experience /skills/qualifications and what you can bring to the role.

Have you spoken to HOY’s at your school for an insight into their role and any advice for you in particular?

In my 8 years of teaching though, I have not known a HoY to be a member of support staff - the roles have always been filled by teaching staff?
