Should this be based on hours of half days? I work every morning, but the morning session is an hour longer than the afternoons.This is a maintained primary

Every morning is normally 0.6 I believe. If it’s 3 hours in the morning and 2 in the afternoon.

According to the STPCD it should be done on the basis of hours. That might not apply in Academies of course, but it makes the most sense

I worked morning for ten years and was always paid 0.6. I never went back for staff meetings but did do parents' evening.
