Are the any DSL's on here who have recently been through an ofsted inspection?

Yes. They were very thorough! We use cpoms and they crawled through examples of children on CP, CIN and TAC. They wanted to see every step in the process, referrals, outcomes, plans etc.

Thanks for your reply. Did they actually go through CPOMS themselves as in take the laptop from you or did they ask you to take them through it?

They sat next to me as I went through it. They first of all asked for a list of families in each categories and selected one from each. They then listened as I went through, saying "Here's the first issue raised, here's the referral we made, here's the outcome report, here's the appointment record for the social service visit, here's the initial paperwork, etc, etc! They asked a couple of questions- what happened following the CP conference, what follow up did you have, where is it recorded etc but most of it was me talking 19 to the dozen!
