Recommendations for online provider for TA course

Hi,

I’m looking to sign up for an online distance learning Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools course.

There are so many providers out there so I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations?

The Association of Learning seems to be reasonably priced and has a good trustpilot average, but I’ve never heard of them.

Any experience or recommendations would be gratefully received!

Thanks

Just a word of caution, lots of schools don't like distance learning. Make sure you choose one where you are doing work experience in the classroom too.

Thank you.

I’m currently working in a school so am building on my school experience, but thought having a qualification too would be very useful. It’s just a bit overwhelming how many providers and trying to find out which are the good ones!

I'm doing it currently with Study house, I am working two days as a TA, but have found it hard going tbh.

Have nearly finished after 18 months 😬 wouldn't do online again.

You are on your own basically, yes they are there to help if you ask, but nothing is explained at the start.

Thanks for letting me know. You must be glad you’re almost at the end now! It’s hard isn’t it; it’s a lot of money to spend and hope for the best re course provider.

Can I ask how many hours roughly you have to put into each of the modules? X
