Easy way to communicate with concerned parents?

Hi all, I'm a chemistry teacher at a secondary school and have a few parents who mentioned at a recent parents evening that they don't have a good idea of what topics their kids are struggling so that they know where to help them/ get help for them. They just give them a CGP book for the year and hope that helps.

I do have the student's test scores for each topic test but we don't usually share those with parents. What would you recommend I do? Also would rather find a permanent solution that maybe updates them on a regular basis rather than having to reach out to the same parents every few weeks.

Stick the topic tests in the kids' books and send them home?
