Just for fun really...I'm sure my department isn't the only one who tries to predict the questions/named poem each year? What do you think will come up this year?

My favourite game! 🤓

My money is on Mrs Birling for An Inspector Calls.

I think we may get a war poem for Power and Conflict. Duchess was a curveball last year - I know of colleagues who were fairly confident it would never come up, which has also made me re-evaluate Tissue. Bayonet Charge has come up twice since 2017 but Exposure is yet to appear in an exam or a SAM so I think it is overdue.

I would NEVER have predicted MLD...I still think we are safe from Tissue though!

I gave year 11 a massive lecture on not attempting to make predictions or revise strategically the other day, so in full awareness of my own hypocrisy…

  • The supernatural or kingship for Macbeth
  • Mrs Birling or Eva for AIC
  • Power of nature for P&C, named poem either Exposure or Storm on the Island
  • Family in ACC

Can someone tell me what the AIC question was? Thanks

@Greenfinger555 The use of Mrs Birling to explore ideas about social class or the use of the Inspector to suggest the need for social change. Nice paper, we thought.

Thanks! Yes- it does sound like the kids would be able to do a lot with that.😃
