Hi all, does anyone teach Edexcel A GCSE Geography or have any experience of it? I’m taking over a department and this is what they teach. I’m a really experienced head of department, but I haven’t taught Edexcel for many many years. My current school does AQA like most of the country. I really like AQA, currently get excellent results and like the support available from AQA e.g webinars etc. But I won’t be able to change the exam board in my new school for some time, so I’m stuck with Edexcel for now. If you teach this/have taught it, how do you find it? The mark schemes look really vague for the 8mk questions. What support/training is available from Edexcel? I’m in the north so far away from London if that’s where the training is. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, I’m a bit apprehensive about taking this on tbh. Thanks everyone.
