My name is Saroop. I am a student at the University of Bath. I am currently writing my dissertation project on why experienced teachers are leaving the profession.
I am looking for help from:
- Former state secondary schoolteachers
- That have left the profession in the last 5 years
- That taught for at least 5 years
At the moment, there is little research on why experienced teachers are leaving now more than ever. I am really passionate about making sure that teacher's voices are heard in order to contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of the challenges facing experienced staff.
Participants will be invited to interview on Microsoft Teams for no longer than an hour. The interviews will be recorded so I can transcribe the conversation but then swiftly deleted. All participants will be anonymous.
