Where can I do my NPQ?

Stupidly, as I’ve been under so much pressure at work. I missed the NPQ deadline. I didn’t feel like I could handle the level of work required as yet. But then I forgot this could have been the last cohort of funded NPQ’s so I’m in a huge pickle now.

Can anyone advise me? What should I do? I obviously wanted to do mine with ambition as that’s the most recommended provider. But firstly, I don’t want to fund my own and secondly I don’t want to wait until autumn.

Can anyone recommend a provider or would you suggest I just wait till autumn? I was looking at doing the npqlt.

The deadline was extended to the 26th I think. I did LTD with UCL and supported 9 colleagues in theirs with UCL. Highly highly recommend.

I've now got a cohort with Teach First, which I do not recommend.

I facilitate NPQLL for Ambition and am not aware of a universal deadline extension for specialist NPQs but you have nothing to lose from contacting them directly.

You have quite a few options with other providers. Best Practice Network are accepting applications until Sunday. TDT deadline is 5 Feb. Ed Dev Trust don't have an obvious deadline on their website and are worth a look.

National Institute of Teaching has their deadline open until 4 Feb. Run by the former chief exec at Ambition, and Jo Facer is the head of NPQ

Did my NPQLT a couple of years ago with Best Practice Network. Very happy with support, resources etc. provided.

I am currently doing an NPQLT with Best Practice and am not impressed. I can't compare to others for NPQ but did my ECT through Ambition and it was fine, if formulaic.

I'd second NIoT. I was a very late addition last year and it was all fine.
