3 days don't want to do 5

Ive temporarily dropped to 3 days a week teaching. My contract is 5 days. I'm happy with 2 days abd financially we can do it just. I dropped because I couldn't cope with 5 days and mental health. My current HT has just said she wants abd expects me back fulltime in September and won't support an extension of my 3 days. I'm now slightly panicking about my options. I'm in a SEND school and jobs in the local area are few and far between, nit sure if I should put my case forwards for 3 days to governors or accept 5 days and look for another job....

By law you have the right to make a formal flexible working request, which could include a request to drop to 0.6 FTE. The request must be considered and if it is declined you must be given a ‘business reason’ as to why. It’s not a guarantee but it would be a wise first step, especially relatively early in the year.
