Any tips for returning after stress related absence?

I know when I go back to work I will be asked or offered help in school. I find it hard to think of what would actually make life easier at work. Has anyone asked for any changes that have helped you or any other advice about returning to work after absence and keeping things manageable? Thank you

Occupational Health usually make recommendations - do you have a report from OH?

Hello, no I do not, not sure if that is something school would arrange or I would request?

Phased return works well. So two lessons a day for a week, then three, then a review meeting to check in with you before upping or keeping reduced hours.

I returned to work on a phased return after treatment for cancer. OH suggested a timescale (my head teacher didn't stick to it specifically) and it worked out well.

You could also request not to be responsible for break time duties and have extra PPA built into your timetable.

Obviously these are all dependent on your management.

Thank you both
