Anyone else going to be checking their pension statement after 1st Oct and rethinking future plans?

As a transitional member I'm interested to see what difference it will have made to my forecast, with a view to it being easier to leave earlier than state pension age without as much if a deduction being made.

Not 50 yet but def starting to plan ahead for what to do. I do still love my job, but recognise I won't be wanting to do this into my 60s.

Yes I'm thinking I'll probably do the buy out (but I'll check with a financial advisor first). I can buy 3 years, and I'm sure when I'm in my 60's, retiring three years early will feel very necessary!
