I have some Audible credits that I want to use up before cancelling my subscription.
Do you have any recommendations for a primary school teacher? I've listened to and enjoyed Clevelands and Stolen Focus. Has anything had an impact on your teaching practise?
I'm thinking teaching theory and practice, but of course any other non teaching recommendations welcome.

Teach Like a Champion 3.0 is excellent

Thanks - is that suitable for primary teachers do you think?

TLAC is fab and the newer editions are slightly less American-centric, with more primary / elementary options. I can’t imagine consuming it as an audiobook though. It’s very much a reference work to me. Maybe that’s just how my brain works.

I highly recommend Why Don't Students Like School?: A Cognitive Scientist Answers Questions About How the Mind Works and What It Means for the Classroom by Daniel Willingham.

If you are interested in early reading or dyslexia then almost anything by Maryanne Wolf, especially Proust and the Squid.

My favourite ed book this year was Reconnect: Building School Culture for Meaning, Purpose and Belonging but it is more about wider school culture than pedagogy and practice.

Amazing, thank you for that info. I did listen to the TLAC taster on audible and was put off my the American ness, so that makes sense, I'll have a go at reading that instead.

The Daniel Willingham sounds like just the thing - as some of my students really don't like school!

The Art & Science of Primary Reading by Christopher Such - gamechanger

Thank you @JimmyGrimble.
It's not available in audible but looks great. I'm leading reading this year so I'll ask school to buy it.

It’s brilliant but where did you find it as an audiobook?
