A pub locally is throwing an end of term party for teachers!

It's a soul night aimed at school staff celebrating the end of term, although I'm sure others won't be turned away.

Every school staff party I've ever been to has been absolute carnage. Much worse than when I worked in the City. I hope they're well prepared 😆

Well, I came out of the city to work in school about 15 years ago. Everything you've heard about City parties in the 80s and 90s is true, but teachers are another breed 😆

At the first one I ever went to they had to break down the toilet door because two female staff members were unconscious behind it. The second school I worked for got banned from two local party venues, one for a food fight At the my last school one of the teachers was dealing drugs to staff and other clients at the venue. He resigned before he was sacked.

I don't work in school now but I've never met people who party so hard Not often shanigans /gossip of the office party kind, just riots! IME the men don't often attend and the parties will be almost exclusively women (who are in the majority anyway)

Omg! This sound like Waterloo Road. I pity the pub and its unsuspecting patrons! Sounds wild. I generally avoid work get togethers but have always heard about the 'toilets'.👂👀

I felt so fucking rough after last year's party that I've deliberately planned to travel with my own kids the next day this year. I am too old for this shit! Ours are generally not quite as insane as you've described, although we've definitely had hookups and been barred!

Ours are absolute carnage! 😂 There’s always some sort of fight, some sort of drama that gets carried on into the next term. Very entertaining! 😂
