I've recently changed union to the NEU as want to support strike action. Can anyone let me know how much you lose for a day's strike? UPS3 and full time.

I would think it’s quite a bit less than that when you factor in lower tax and ni contributions, and pension and student loan deductions

Mmmmmmm12 · 04/07/2023 23:17

It’s 1/365 of your salary

about £150

I don't think that's right - isn't it more like £120? I'm UPS 3 and have had to sort out issues with mine as it was miscalculated.

You may be correct. I gave a rough guess.

This is correct
So it will depend on your salary
Some will lose more than others

Full time, UPS 3 for me was £123 per day.
