Where do you buy your school diary?!

I seem to gather reams of useless paper, notes scribbled here and there, post its coming out of my ears etc. I'd like a school diary that keeps me organised but one with a ream of lined paper for me to take notes (or pretend to take notes) in my Very Important And Worthwhile Inset Day Meetings.

Does such a thing exist?

Do I need A4 or A5??
Can I have a ribbony thing to mark the week?
Page per day or page per week??
Pretty little floral number or plain??

Please help me get more organised! Show me your wonderful stationary.
Help!

Do you mean a ream or just a pad? That's 500 sheets / 1000 pages!

There was another thread about this recently with some nice recommendations. For some reason I can't paste a link but it's still on the first page of the staffroom board, entitled 'year planner'.

I am very surprised at the number of people who have to buy their own. I've always been supplied one by the school.

Thanks @ThanksItHasPockets (I meant a pad).

Yeah - another that has to buy her own. They're not cheap neither!

Thanks for the info .

I've just taken delivery of the Positive Teacher Company Daily planner, that I'm impressed with so far (although I admittedly haven't used it yet). It is quite bulky though, so if something slim is what you're after, it won't be for you. It doesn't come with a ribbon, but I always just knot one onto the binding anyway, so I'll do that. Importantly for me it has a proper continuous spiral bind, that appears robust, not one of those horrible comb binding, which always seem to come apart ime. It has quite a bit of space for note taking, although the notes sections and pages aren't all in one place, they're throughout the planner. It has one page to a day, with space for notes on each which I like, and including weekends 🤨. I'll use the weekend pages for note taking most likely! It doesn't have much of a mark book, but I prefer a separate mark book anyway.

I use Personal Planner. https://www.personalplanner.com/EN/?gad=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwtO-kBhDIARIsAL6Lore3Mxs5553j3Q9XUmrjGZ18YzAzZmCKVqbhxDoOdZWDBmxf2LWivCoaAmYxEALw_wcB&country=GB&language=EN
Really customisable layouts and pages. I like a week view and notes page for each week, and then at the back loads of lined paper for meeting/training notes etc. They also do lots of different pages you can insert, including some teacher specific ones. You can add ribbons and rulers to keep your place, the rulers have little tabs so I have one to mark my place in the diary and one to mark my place in the notes. You can design your own cover or pick from loads of options, and personalise it with your name.
They're not cheap but I treat at as a little end of term gift to myself.

This is the weekly layout I use, but there are lots of different options. I also go for A5 which is big enough for me, but I don't use it for lesson planning.

I also get mine from The Positive Teacher Company. I've had a teacher planner the last few years but am trying a daily planner this year. I really like them!
