Anyone else teaching 4 days and using breakfast club and after school club? Feeling massively guilty. Mine are 6 and 9. They hate going and every morning is a battle. Anyone else??

I teach full time so mine have to go everyday. There's no choice. Luckily they love it but I'm sure they'd rather not be there. They do do some clubs at school during the week and then go into after school club once those have finished so that helps to break up the week.

My DH works away and we have no family around so they've always had to go.

I work full time and DS is 6. He doesn't like breakfast club, so I arrive at school a bit later than I used to. He's signed up for after school club 3 days a week and generally likes going (they are open until 6pm). He's got clubs on two days and then his guitar lesson on another. Afterwards, he just goes to the normal play sessions and I'm usually having to drag him away after.
On the other two days, I leave as soon as my class have been dismissed and we go to the pool or to his baseball practice before heading home...
