I've decided after a very (15 years!) long time to throw my hat back into the ring and I'm currently filling in an application for for a maternity cover. I've dug out all my certificates and trying to fill it in but there are a couple of things I'm unsure about.
It asked for my QTS date but also my certificate number. The only number on my certificate is my DfES number so I put that in but then the DfES number is requested on a separate line.
It also asks if I am "already with the GTC". Now I understand this to be the General Teaching Council, but I don't have anything showing a reference number for that and as I stopped teaching in 2007 I don't know if I should have that?
I'd be really grateful if anyone has any knowledge about these things and could point me in the right direction. Thank you :-)
