Picket line this morning, rally this afternoon.

I absolutely refuse to do any school work on strike days.

Writing bastard reports 🤣🤣

I've done about 2 hours of school work. I usually get time out of class on Mondays so missed my time this week and will miss it next week! I took the dog to the vet. Also my usual Sunday stuff (ironing, hoovering etc) as I was out on Sunday and felt ill yesterday - not related!

Love how most are working on strike days!!! If you can work from home, why can’t you go into school…

It is a sign of how broken teaching is.

On a strike day - you should not work - but - people are choosing to do so - to make their load easier to carry on the other days.

Exactly!

Do you really not understand why people strike? It's not for a day off work (unpaid of course).

Exactly this. I strongly feel that some compassionate leave and sick days are used to catch up on workload too. To repeat, it is a sign of how broken teaching is.
