No workbooks, no textbooks, no TA, no photocopying

Is anyone else just so tired of this?

I mean I absolutely would be if that was my situation, but I’ve worked in a number of schools and never had that. Why aren’t you allowed any of those things - cost??

So how do you deliver?

We had this - I paid for my own subscriptions (twinkl, mathsframe), used freebies (salamander) and then just smiles and nodded when SLT huffed at me for photocopying too much

It’s dire. Twinkl is a lifeline, and the 1 copy of each textbook/ workbook I saved from the last purge.

I just photocopy the bare essentials and so far haven’t been slapped on the wrist.

It’s the lack of TA that’s killing me though.

I have no pencils, whiteboard pens, black and green pens. Bought them yesterday. I do have a part time TA and new chairs and tables!
