Year 4- classroom novel- Italy topic

Hello,
I'm really struggling to find a novel, suitable for a year 4 class, which is based around our geography topic of Italy. Any suggestions?

Escape from Pompeii by Christina Balit.
I'm a year 4 teacher. Did a newspaper report and narrative (what happened next for the two main chatacters). Tied it in with Volcanoes, earthquakes and mountains in geography. You could easily do a non-chron and diary entry too.
