I miss so many of them - Nicebaby and so many more.

The board was a big part of my life after I retired - being a senior Early Years Teacher Sure Start- I miss them all every single day.

I miss it too. I went from being on it constantly to literally stopping overnight when they changed it.

Why did they get rid of the forums again? There was a wealth of info there!

I really miss it too - not the individual commentators but the feeling that you weren't alone and whatever struggle you had with teaching, someone was always in the same situation or could offer advice. I never really understood why it was taken down. I barely look at the TES anymore.

THe Tessers are somewhere on Proboards I think = however I am banned forever, forever from Pro Boards for being a very naughty girl but maybe someone can find it and link it in here. If you do manage to find the gang tell them Nelly is doing fine

I really miss the career advice: I like the proboards, and kudos to people who set it up and moderate it, but it's just not quite the same as TES.

Evening all, I was a former Tesser, I used to love Middlemarch and Theogriff’s direct advice. I still parrot it out whenever I see someone post I’ve got an interview, 20 minutes with year 7, what should I do?

And made some real life friends!

Just popping back in. So good to read this thread. Still doing well here and not ill funnily enough. Garden is amazing and the orchard.... now there are 6 hens escaping all over the place. Drat them. Busy doing outreach in a dissident sense.

Thanks for that but I did ask them how much they were enjoying the Great Reset way back in 2021 and they banned me and even now, won't let me back on. I wanted to tell some of the old friends that I am OK, that was all. x

Geneaologist - why did you get banned? I don't understand!
I used to find it so useful and reassuring. I also don't understand wht they got rid of those boards. It was the only way I really interacted with the TES!
