Is there some kind of internet trend going around?

I’m not entirely sure I understand the world of “TikTok” but supposedly there are trends happening on it.

a student randomly came up to me today and said “I heard about your police report Mrs Leaf” I initially completely ignored it and took no notice. they turned around and said as soon as they were questioned by another member of staff “oh it was just a trend online”. However, driving home, I had a little think about what the student said.

Many years ago say 8, I phoned the police about something that had happened to me. I don’t want to go into it but it was unpleasant.

Is there some way they could find out this information? For further details, I’m not on social media at all.

I haven’t heard of anything like this on TikTok but kids always call your bluff. One said to me yesterday that they’d found me on Facebook and enjoyed stalking me - I said ha, don’t think so I don’t even use my real name! They then said they were kidding. Prob a kid hoping you’d say yes to get some info

Totally agree. I just did the eye roll and carried on talking to the student I needed to. I assumed it could have been a case of calling my bluff, however, the genuine concern did set in on my way home!
