If you're 0.6, which subject (s) do you lead?

By the time you take one evening out for a staff meeting, I'm finding it difficult to get round staff. What do you think is realistic? Is it realistic to lead one core subject jointly? (Maths / English). I'm starting to think I'd prefer to lead one smaller subject solo.

I led Maths on 0.6. It took up a lot of time. Much easier now I’m 0.8 & SLT so regular time out of class.

Thanks @Onandgrowing.
I've changed from 0.8 to 0.6 whilst also having reduced time out. I now get the minimum PPA time for 0.6 and teach the rest of the time. It's really difficult to keep on top of a core subject.

Do you attend 0.6% of staff meetings? I’m 0.5 and I’m only expected to attend half. That’s definitely something to look into.

I think it depends what sizes school you work in. I’m in a large Primary and it’s unusual for a part timer to lead a core subject, unless on the LT. Being a large school means we can ‘spread the load’ quite evenly and nobody leads more than one subject/area, apart from SLT.

I’m U3 and lead PSHE/RSE plus I’m the anti bullying lead.

0.8 and lead 4 non-core subjects - life in a small school.

@ChittyChittyBoomBoom I go to all of the regular staff meetings. I do get paid if I go to training days that aren't on my days. I've only disputed this once when I was instructed to stay for the duration of parents' evening because 'directed time'. I don't mind the others as I'm aware I don't have to do much in the way of IEPs, data, reports etc.

@TwitTw00 I'm in a two-form entry. I really feel for you in smaller schools! Crazy expectations.
