Whether you are off this week or next 1 week or 2 what are your plans this half term?

Drinking. Lots.

And reading. Anyone got any recommendations?

What type of books do you like?

I saw that FatFace are hosting a free activity afternoon live on their instagram channel on the 26th of October which I'll be doing with my kids!

We're flying to the UK to see family. We usually drive but we've only got one week off this time round. DS hasn't been on a plane since he was a baby, so he's terribly excited.
It's also his first half term after having started school this summer. He was utterly shattered yesterday and still has a bit of a temperature. Hope he's better by the time we are meant to fly out.
So, I plan on having takeaways, mostly just sitting around not doing much, perhaps going for some walks, spending time with family.

I finished on Fri 21st (so, yesterday at time of posting) and came straight up to the lake district.

Went for two walks today - one short one in the morning and then a longer one this afternoon. Both great with fabulous views of lake windermere.

Plans for the week include more walks, visiting a couple of old watermills, pottering in Keswick/Kendal, possibly doing Honister slate mine, odd pub lunch here and there, chilling out and reading/watching films in the evening in our cottage.

I've just had half term at the same time as my dc for the first time ever (used to teach over the county border to them).
We went to Center Parcs. It was great😊
