Looking to teach abroad (possibly in Qatar or the UAE)

Hello everyone :)
I am a Primary School Teacher (PST) with two years of experience. I worked in London until the academic year of 2018-2019 then moved to Glasgow.

I managed to secure my dream job as a PST in the UAE Jan-Feb 2020 but at that time I found out I was a few weeks pregnant so had to decline the offer. At the same time, I was offered a job as a teacher assistant in Glasgow and worked between Aug-Oct 2020 when schools reopened after the pandemic period. I was off for maternity in October but didn't go back to work because my contract was only for a year.
My child is almost two now and I am looking to go back to work with the possibility of working in Qatar or the UAE. Any advice?

My main worries/thoughts are:

  1. Whether to look for a PST job in Glasgow (which was difficult in the past) and just forget about going abroad altogether?
  2. If I do decide to go abroad to teach, is there a possibility of including my child as a dependent on my work visa? Are nursery places available? Will my school cover for them or will I need to arrange myself for it? What other challenges I may face?

If you are a single parent teaching abroad or know of anyone in a similar situation please feel free to share your experience.

I am looking for any advice at the moment because I feel a bit lost :(

Thanks in advance :-)
