Pgce fe - can I teach secondary in independent schools?

Hi,
I used to work in fe colleges and got my PGCE FE in 2008 ( I think) and then QTS the following year.
does anyone know of this would be sufficient to teach in a private school? I’ve never taught in one before, but recently done some technician work in a private school and might consider teaching there- if my PGCE FE was considered sufficient.
Thanks!

Yes, should be fine if the school as happy to accept it - private schools often take people without teaching quals if they think they're the right fit.
