Primary school teacher 0.6 pt here. My wonderful jobshare has been off all year on long term sick leave. I have done the odd additional days here and there when I can, but the class have been taught by a multitude of supply teachers.
My dilemma is that I have been planning, resourcing and at times marking for the 2 days I am not responsible for and am getting fed up with this. I now think this situation may carry over to the next academic year.
has anyone been in this situation? Who should be organising the day for the supply teachers? I don’t want to give my colleagues extra work and feel a duty to ensure the provision for my class is as good as possible, but also realise that this is not my responsibility.
