Name for a ‘Good Egg’ award

Retiring after 34 years this summer. School gives awards/shields to some Y6 children at the end. I am going to add one from me before I leave and want to give it for Kindness, friendship, and being reliable etc. I can’t think of a good name for it and don’t want to call it the ‘Good Egg’ award. Any ideas would be gratefully received. We already have the Endeavour Award which would have been perfect!

2 of my DC won the “all rounder” award- irony intended as they used a rounders trophy!

Good citizen?
Team player?
One of a kind?
Benevolent?
Right hand person?

None of those seem quite right. It's a lovely award to win. It deserves a lovely name.

We have the "mrs thing award for resilience". Could you model it along those lines?

thebookeatinggirl · 18/06/2022 09:56

We try to reward the 'always' children - the ones who always choose to do the right thing.
The 'Always Cup'? I like the 'Citizenship award' too.

I think we have a Service award for things that don't fit into other categories but need to be recognised. A girl was awarded it a few years ago because she had been very caring towards a girl in her year with a serious medical condition.

littlegreenpiggie · 18/06/2022 19:03

What about just the 'YourName' Shield or Award?

cherrypiepie · 18/06/2022 20:47

Community award? I got this. For similar reasons - a good egg!

School community award?

The Mrs xxx Peace prize?

The pride of xxx school award (modelled on pride of Britain not pride)

Thank you for your ideas. It is to be shared by another long standing teacher - we are sharing it so names won’t work!

The extra mile award ?
The joy bringer award?
The good example award?
the salt of the earth award?
The heart of gold award?
the kindliness award?

Thank you Roget's thesaurus for ideas

We have an award for this which is named after the student it's in memory of.
It is 'just' called the his name award.

mamaduckbone · 19/06/2022 12:58

We have the cup of kindness, which is quite nice.

Shortbreadselection · 20/06/2022 23:24

Kind heart award
Good Citizen award

GladysGeorgina · 21/06/2022 21:31

Integrity Award - for xxxxxxx who always does the right thing, even when no-one is looking

devoncreamtea · 22/06/2022 22:19

What about ‘unsung hero award’ ?

SilverMop · 23/06/2022 18:53

I have heard of a Shining Star Award - awarded to those who just 'shine'!

Fushia123 · 24/06/2022 09:54

Thank you again everyone. A bit of brainstorming from brilliant brains has really helped.
We have gone for The Spirit of —— Road School Award, and each year staff will select a Y6 leaver who is kind, considerate and thoughtful. Their name will be added to the shield, and they will get a small replica one to keep.
Thanks again!
x
