Long shot! English past paper

Hi all,

Anyone got a hoarding cupboard with a 1995 English lit paper lurking? Asking for a friend who is trying to remember the name of the poems on it. I know this is very unlikely!

I did my GCSE English lit in 1995 🤣🤣 I seem to think there was some sort of anthology somewhere that included the lyrics of the song "Road to Hell'. That's all I can remember. I think there might have been some Blake on there too, possibly London.

We did the poems of Edward Thomas. Plus Wilfred Owen, so war poems basically.

In 1996 I did rhyme of the ancient mariner. If that's any help. Is it the ones they studied or unseen from the actual exam?

There is a website somewhere full of past papers. I did mine in 1993 but the first one on there was 1995.

This wasn’t the actual one I found but it’s got 1994 on there. I was trying to find my GCSE maths paper from 1993 last year when DS1 was doing his exams to see how it compared.

What exam board? Named or unseen poems?

So the random Road to Hell lyrics was NEAB if that helps anyone! And indeed that was the Higher paper.
