Should I continue to stay off work with Bronchitis?

Hello all.
I am a primary teacher in year 2. I am currently off sick with acute bronchitis. I went to the doctors on Friday where I was prescribed antibiotics but I don’t feel that I have improved much since then. I am lethargic, achey and my chest is very sore. I am constantly coughing. I am due to go back to work tomorrow but I am considering being off for the rest of the week as I know I’m not well enough to teach. However, as always I feel really guilty about not being there, despite other teachers being off with covid. I feel that because I don’t have covid I should be there to help with cover. I don’t know what to do.

Stay home, you are not well enough to cope with the school day.
Forcing yourself into work now will delay your recovery.

Put your well being first, school will manage without you.

Get well soon.

Thank you for your reply. I really appreciate your kind words.
I did in fact test positive for covid yesterday so it explains why I’ve been so poorly.
