I sometimes share a whole bottle of wine with my DH on a school night, so half a bottle each. Sometimes feel a bit muzzy when I wake but fine after a coffee! Do you drink alcohol on a school night?
PenOrPencil · 25/01/2022 18:45
I do, but not every night and less than half a bottle of wine, otherwise I’d be hung over and we all know that teaching when hung over is a very bad idea!

No - but I might start !
CheesecakeAddict · 26/01/2022 17:42
Yes, absolutely. Especially this term
mamaduckbone · 26/01/2022 19:06
Very rarely and only one or two glasses. I couldn't drink half a bottle and still be ok at school.
Bearnecessity · 26/01/2022 22:15
Nope...
Trebormints74 · 27/01/2022 00:01
None generally. Might have on or two if I go out for dinner.

G&T in my hand right now!

And DH and I sharing a bottle of wine is normal behaviour on a Sunday night with school the next day.. sometimes midweek too…..
GrammarTeacher · 28/01/2022 05:43
Not generally. A glass or two if out for dinner. Not big on drinking at home.

I only drink on Friday to Sunday and not Monday to Thursday. I might have one drink on a Sunday night.

Half a bottle of red minimum every day since my 20s - and I'm now in my 60s.

There have been periods in the past where I have drunk alcohol almosy every school night. Not for a very long time though (currently teetotal) and I feel far far better for it. It's a dodgy trap to fall into for me.
Marzipanfruit · 04/02/2022 00:21
Yes, but as I am now lucky enough to be part time it is on other people's 'school nights'.
languagelover96 · 04/02/2022 08:09
On the last day of each term and at the weekends
LondonQueen · 04/02/2022 22:45
Most nights I have a bottle to myself!
PumpkinPie2016 · 05/02/2022 18:47
Depends on the day I've had
