Student pinched my stuff - do I make a fuss?

Hello all, I hope you're having a restful break.
I run a well-being room at school, I've put a lot of work into and bought stuff out of my own pocket (HLTA so not great earner!)
Anyhow, a student has pinched some of the stuff I've bought.
I got some of it back, but there is a lot still missing.
What would you do?

What age group? What "stuff"? How do you know it was that student?

Part of well being is dealing with difficult behaviour, could that inform your response?
