Is anyone else running on fumes? Absolutely exhausted

I just can’t believe how tired I am. I’m running on empty.

I’m a uni lecturer, not a school teacher, but I hear you!
(I think others do too, but they’re probably too exhausted to respond!)

I haven’t felt this bad since NQT year! I’m reduced to ready dinners and just getting through the next 2 weeks.

I think everyone at my school is. Utterly exhausted.

Totally shattered here too. Feels like we'll never have a normal year again. Just so tired. Ds is commenting on how tired and stressed dh (teacher too) and I always are. That makes me feel sad.

Me too and I’ve got a re-observation this week. Bastards.

Returned today after covid. Just been reminded to make sure that my books are marked and up to date after having supplies in. SLT are convinced ofsted are coming any day. I honestly feel like handing my notice in.

Me too. Two years without a school show made me forget how brutal it is; find myself almost wishing bubbles will come in again so I can cancel and start sleeping again....

Yup! I've got two sets of year 11 mocks to mark from last week, this week is year 12 mock week.
Absence is through the roof.
We don't break up till the 22nd.

Utterly bloody crawling towards the holidays. Kids with covid all over the place. So so tired.

On my knees. 28 weeks pregnant. Four days and counting

I am so tired that I thought today was a Monday, so I am thrilled. Five more days.

Yep - forget Xmas shopping or any festivities - have about 10 hours of marking and lesson prep ahead as usual for a weekend. Love being in the classroom but really resenting how much it’s taking over my life now more than ever

I can't even move from the sofa tonight. I'm now at the overtired and beyond sleep phase.

Not long now...

On Monday this week as the students left I said "have a good weekend everyone". They all looked at me like I was so shattered and ready for the weekend.

No Ofsted next week though, apparently they are letting schools off!
