How hard is it to get onto a PGCE?

I am due to graduate with a 2:1 undergraduate degree. I have worked with children in nurseries, schools, and nannying for just under ten years. I have a level 3 in early years childcare too, and do volunteering with Home Start and a children’s counselling charity.

I’m wondering how tricky it is to get accepted onto a PGCE - I am hoping to get onto a lower primary one. I’ve always wanted to be a primary school teacher, feeling quite nervous about applying for the PGCE soon! Flowers (any tips gratefully welcomed Grin)

You sound like you have a great chance! I got accepted onto three School Direct PGCEs with less experience. Good luck.
