Does anyone’s school still allow working from home?

Just as above really.

My school still seems to allow quite a few support staff to work from home for part of the week (usually those in more ‘back office’ type roles).

Just wondering if this is usual or not.

Hasn’t been anyone in our primary office this half term - calls barely being answered and parents can’t drop things in. We have had 6 covid cases in 18 months so seems a bit extreme IMO. The office is behind a glass screen anyway. Just wondering what type of impression it gives to prospective parents.

No one at our school apart from very heavily pregnant staff.

Thanks for the replies.

Looks like there is quite a range of experiences!

No one at all, even heavily pregnant staff

No one at our school. Again, not even staff in the third trimester of pregnancy.

Thanks. I’d be interested to see how a pregnant teaching colleague would be treated. Guess it’d highlight whether the policy is for H&S reasons or just to try and give some flexibility.
