COVID positive - what happens with Test&Trace?

Having tested positive over the weekend, I received a link from Test&Trace. Requires me to fill in workplace details, and also asks who have I had contact with in the days prior to my result. How are we supposed to list every contact and provide their contact details? Is this how it works now with test & trace?
Apparently schools are no longer required to notify anyone, and Test & Trace effectively don’t have any involvement, other than to ping automated emails to the contact details we provide?

Because kids and the vaccinated no longer have an obligation to isolate or test, the whole school duration situation isn't really an issue--not that I agree with it, but you don't need to sweat it. Try to list as many of the adults you can, just in case they're unvaccinated, and dying worry too much.

It does seem odd. I am double vaccinated, and in good health, yet am having quite a rough ride so far. Having recently lost a vaccinated friend in his 50s to covid, it certainly doesn’t keep you as safe as I had assumed.

I'm so sorry for your loss and hope you heal up soon. I do think the current government guidance is putting a lot of lives at risk, and can only hope that much like our school, that many are taking their own personal responsibility to mask up seriously.

I gave names of a couple of kids I’d had f2f conversations with but ticked the under 18 box and said I didn’t have contact details. I imagine that was effectively useless as am pretty sure t&t did nothing with that info.

Oh and I told our SBM what I’d done.
