Hi
I’m thinking of applying for an HLTA post in an independent school (junior) but only have experience of state schools. Can anyone tell me about their own experience or what things I might find different?
Thx

Smaller class sizes
High expectations
Parents have a LOT of say
Longer working day
Longer school holidays

Thanks for the response. I applied and got the job so fingers crossed it’s the right decision!
