First year back in Reception, been a bit of a shitshow as fellow teacher left suddenly over the summer holidays so I've got a supply and am therefore doing both classes work.. anyway I've been chasing log on details for baseline reception portal since before the summer holidays..finally got emailed them today (yes working on a Sunday).. only to find the e portal only available mon-fri between 8am and 5pm!
So I can't access the training materials i need to 🙈🙈🙈
Honestly how ridiculous! Given I set up each morning from 8 and then leave school at 4 to get my own children it doesn't leave much time when I'm not teaching to actually log on and complete the training!!
I'll have to do it in my ppa time which is annoying but never mind!
And don't even get me started on where my headteacher has "securely stored" the practical resources..he assures me he will have it to me by the end of this week...
Sorry everyone a total rant as I've spent loads of summer familiarising myself with the new curriculum, in sorting my classroom out and just feel like yet again early years is forgotten about or dismissed! Makes me so cross! Imagine if this were SATs papers?!
In happier news my new class seem like a lovely bunch and have all settled in really well! So that's always nice!
