We are psychologists at the University of the West of Scotland and we are looking for parents with autistic children aged 7-13 yrs with pet dogs or cats for a study investigating the benefits of the bond between autistic children and their pets. This involves a short online survey for parents/caregiver (takes around 15 mins). Your time is highly appreciated! Smile Link to more information and the study here: petsautism.questionpro.com/

I have an autistic child in that age range. My child has many fears and would not tolerate cats or dogs any where near by. Perhaps you could discuss this when writing everything up. Many autistic children have lots of phobias often including animals. The questionnaire doesn't allow for those who it wouldn't benefit to answer and state this as a reason.

Good luck with your research. I love that you are trying to find things that may benefit autistic children.
