What makes a good nqt form tutor

My placement gave me a fair amount of form time with students and I was shadowing another teacher.

But I can’t help but think how scary it is being responsible for a group of students and can’t shake the feeling I’m not prepared enough to be a good forum tutor!

Your head of year should support you by giving you a routine to follow. You've also just reminded me that I need to organise my form time shadowing: I cover my ECTs' form time 1 day a week for a month so they can observe the other tutors in their year. That's been helpful in the past.
